ABSTRACT

Vallecular cyst is a rare congenital disease which presents itself with upper respiratory tract obstruction and growth retardation in the newborn. A patient with vallecular cyst who was diagnosed by direct laryngoscopic examination, palpation and radiologic imaging was discussed in this report.

ÖZET

Vallekula kisti, yenidoğan döneminde üst solunum yolu obstrüksiyonu ve büyüme geriliği ile kendini gösteren, az rastlanan doğumsal bir hastalıktır. Bu yazıda, direkt larengoskopik muayene, palpasyon ve radyolojik görüntüleme ile tanısı ve ayırıcı tanısı yapılan bir olgu tartışılmıştır.
