Sialolithiasis is the most common pathology of the salivary gland and it can be seen especially in the submandibular gland. In this study a case about spontaneous passage of a giant salivary gland stone (40x20x17 mm) from a 56 year-old male patient to the mouth by perforation of the floor of the mouth is presented, and the literature is reviewed.
ÖZET
Sialolithiasis tükürük bezinin en yaygın hastalıklarından biridir ve sıklıkla submandibular bezde gözlenir. Bu çalışmada, ağız tabanı per-forasyonu yaparak ağız içine spontan olarak düşen dev submandibular tükürük bezi taşı (40x20x17 mm) olan 56 yaşında bir erkek olgu tartışılmış ve literatür bilgileriyle gözden geçirilmiştir.
