We present three cases with peripheric nerve sheath tumour localized in head and neck that were treated in ENT Department of GATA Haydarpafla Educational Hospital. The tumours originated in the brachial plexus, vagus and occipital nerve. All of the patients complained about mass without pain. No adenopathy was noted in three cases. The tumors were excised for diagnosis and treatment. Histopathologic examination revealed that tumour originated in the brachial plexus was malignant peripheral nerve sheath tumour, others were schwannoma. The case with malignant nerve sheath tumour received postoperative adjuvant radiotherapy. No residue has been noted after one year of follow-up.
ÖZET
GATA Haydarpaşa Eğitim Hastanesi KBB Kliniği'nde tedavi edilen baş-boyun yerleşimli üç periferik sinir kılıfı tümörü olgusu sunuldu. Tümörler sağ brakial pleksus, sol vagus ve sol oksipi-tal sinir kaynaklıydı. Olguların hepsinde ağrısız kitle şikayeti vardı. Periferik lenfadenomegali hiçbir olguda yoktu. Tanı ve tedavi amaçlı tümörektomi yapıldı. Histopatolojik değerlendirmede brakial pleksus yerleşimli olgu malign periferik sinir kılıfı tümörü, diğer iki olgu ise schwannom tanısı aldı. Malign periferik sinir kılıfı tümörü olgusu adjuvan radyoterapi de almış olup bir yıllık takibinde rezidiv hastalık bulgusu saptanmadı.
