Laryngocele is a lesion being filled dilatation of laryngeal ventricle saccule with air or herniation seen rarely for the larynx. In about 16% of the cases with the diagnosis of laryngocele, squamous cell carcinome accompanies. In larynx cancers, one of the most important factors determining the prognosis being neck metastatis can be confused with infected laryngocele. 60-years old case referred with the diagnosis of mass in the neck and larynx ca was presented and discussed.
ÖZET
Laringosel laringeal ventrikül sakkülünün havayla dolu dilatasyonu veya herniasyonu olup larinksin nadir rastlanan benign bir lezyonudur. Laringosel tanılı olguların yaklaşık %16’sında skuamöz hücreli karsinom eşlik etmektedir. Larinks kanserlerinde prognozu belirleyen en önemli faktörlerden biri olan boyun metastazları, özellikle enfekte olmuş laringosel ile karışabilmektedir. Larinx ca ve boyunda kitle tanısıyla refere edilen 60 yaşındaki olgu sunulmuş ve tartışılmıştır.
